The Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Standard is at Level 2, This is the current entry-level for an accounting apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is a perfect match for someone without any accountancy or bookkeeping knowledge.

On this apprenticeship, you will learn the building blocks of the modern accountant. This course will help you grasp the fundamentals of bookkeeping, and further help you develop those vital skills and behaviours to enable you to put your knowledge into action.

End Point Assessment

To complete the apprenticeship, apprentices will be expected to complete:

  • A synoptic end-test coveringknowledge and skills gainedthroughout the on-programme stage.

  • A portfolio and reflective discussion,comprising evidence from theworkplace, demonstrating theapprentice’s meeting of knowledge, skills, and behaviours outlined in the standard.
